In the Direct Mail business, a little token of appreciation goes a long way in customer response and retention. So, when it comes to ‘sticking’ around after the mail is delivered marketing campaigns have many choices. A nice vinyl decal with ultra-repositionable adhesive that sticks on just about everything that a magnet can’t glass, walls, cabinets, stainless steel, etc. is a lot more functional.
Here’s another problem with magnets that’s more important to the client – mailing costs. Aside from the printing, inserting and addressing, a big chunk of cost is based on weight when bulk mailings are used. Magnets weigh four times more than a vinyl label. For example, a 5,000 piece mailing with a 3”x 4” magnet at 12 mils thick weighs an extra 66 lbs compared to a 3.5 mil vinyl decal of the same size.
Adhesive-backed vinyl decals don’t need to be magnetized after inserting. They can be tipped on just like any carded insert. CPD’s digital vinyl sheet product can be digitally imaged by laser or a HP Indigo® press- yes, we’re approved. It can go on cars – including the windows and plastic bumpers that magnets can’t hold onto. Our microsphere adhesive backed vinyl sticks and un-sticks as often as needed with no residue, especially on stainless steel refrigerators.
We will be introducing our new Page of Flags sheet material at the On Demand Expo, booth 423. This 8.5 x11 sheet has (35) preformatted polyester page marker ready to print with your custom art. We will be posting a video soon demonstrating the product. More to come……….
